Step into a pivotal role supporting students as a School Psychologist during the upcoming full school year, running from August 19th through May 26th. This contract opportunity is based near Arlington Heights, IL, and offers the flexibility of both onsite and hybrid arrangements, ensuring you can provide impactful services in a setting that suits you.

As a School Psychologist, you will provide comprehensive psychological services focusing on preschool and elementary-aged students. You’ll collaborate with educators and families across one or more school sites to foster student well-being, assess learning and behavioral needs, and help design effective interventions.

Requirements:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Familiarity with grade-level assessments and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Experience working with preschool and elementary student populations
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compliance with all local and state regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Serve as a resource for school staff regarding student mental health and behavior management
  • Deliver support and consultation for students across designated caseload and multiple schools as assigned
  • Provide both in-person and, as needed, virtual services based on district needs
