Professionally, this opportunity will immerse you in diverse educational environments—exposing you to a range of special education models and team dynamics. Balancing your schedule between Peoria (one day a week, focusing on Emotional Disabilities) and Bloomington (three or more days a week, serving students with Emotional Disabilities, Autism, Life Skills needs, and beyond), you’ll expand your clinical abilities, sharpen your collaborative skills, and build a resume that stands out nationwide.
Qualifications:
- Active OT license valid in Illinois.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Ability to provide support for students with Emotional Disabilities, Autism, and Life Skills needs.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across Bloomington and Peoria schools.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educators.
- Document progress and communicate with caregivers and staff.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet a variety of unique learning needs.
