Step into a meaningful role supporting high school students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic contract position. Beginning August 24, 2026, and running through June 16, 2027, you’ll work full-time, in-person, providing vital services on campus five days a week. This rewarding opportunity focuses exclusively on high schoolers, where you’ll make a major impact through engaging psychoeducational work, collaboration with dedicated staff, and direct student support.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold an active Delaware School Psychologist license (required).
  • Demonstrated school-based experience, preferably at the high school level.
  • Skilled in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
  • Proven ability to write thorough, actionable psychological reports.
  • Comfortable participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the assigned high school site in Wilmington, DE.
  • Capability to complete required district fingerprinting within the first days (with upfront payment).
  • Willing and able to work fully onsite, five days per week; this is a strictly in-person assignment.
  • Experience with similar school districts and populations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth psychoeducational assessments for high school students.
  • Create clear, detailed reports to inform educational planning.
  • Collaborate closely with staff, families, and IEP teams to develop and implement student supports.
  • Offer consultation and guidance to educators and administrators regarding interventions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, adhering to all district and legal requirements.
