School Psychologist | Middletown, Delaware

A contract opportunity awaits an experienced School Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a high school setting. Starting August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, this full-time, in-person role requires a dedicated professional to join a supportive educational environment near Middletown, DE. You’ll be responsible for critical psychoeducational evaluations, thorough report writing, active participation in IEP meetings, and daily collaboration with school staff—all essential to fostering student success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Delaware School Psychologist license (required at application)
• Prior school-based or high school psychologist experience preferred
• Proven experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing professional reports
• Demonstrated participation in IEP processes and team collaboration
• Comfortable working exclusively onsite, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned high school in Wilmington
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting process on arrival

What You’ll Do:

• Administer and interpret a variety of standardized and non-standardized psychological assessments for high school students
• Prepare clear, comprehensive psychoeducational reports
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families
• Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings, sharing insights for student support plans
• Act as a resource to staff, students, and families regarding psychological services and interventions
