If you are a licensed and passionate School Psychologist seeking to make a meaningful impact, an exciting opportunity is available to support high school students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite position focuses on providing direct psychological services in a vibrant, collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist license (must present with application)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting; high school experience preferred
- Expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and preparing comprehensive reports
- Confident participant in IEP meetings, with a proven record of effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation and availability for a consistent full-time schedule (5 days/week, 37.5 hours/week) onsite
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting within the first few days of assignment (self-pay)
- Comfortable supporting and building rapport with high-school age students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students and communicate findings through clear, comprehensive evaluations
- Provide vital input and recommendations as an active participant during IEP team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and district staff to advocate for and meet students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation while managing a caseload efficiently
- Serve as a key resource for school staff and families, contributing to educational plans and interventions
This rewarding contract position extends from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027 and will exclusively serve high school students in a supportive academic setting.
