Social Worker | Hartford, Connecticut

Make a meaningful impact in students' lives through short-term school-based social work assignments in the Hartford, CT area. Two full-time contract opportunities are now available: one supporting a high school caseload, and the other working with elementary students. Both positions run 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on-site responsibilities—no virtual work at this time.

Available Assignments:

• High School: August 31, 2026 – October 9, 2026
• Elementary School: August 31, 2026 – September 30, 2026
  Both have potential for extension depending on school needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current active CT DPH and School Social Worker (071) licensure/certification (please provide upfront)
• Direct experience in school-based settings is required
• Strong background in conducting student evaluations
• Ability to handle high school or elementary caseloads (depending on assignment)
• Comfortable accepting short-term and leave-coverage roles
• Must be able to work fully onsite (no remote options available)
• Available for Zoom interview prior to placement
