As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis, you’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to deliver exceptional care and transformative interventions for students with diverse communication needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
• Passion for supporting children with varying speech, language, and communication challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals
• Provide direct therapy services—individually or in small groups—in accordance with IEPs
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
• Support and participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and patient-centered learning atmosphere
