Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification in Special Education (state eligibility required)
- Experience or coursework related to teaching high school learners with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong collaborative skills for team teaching and co-taught classroom settings
- Case management experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Case manage a caseload of 10-15 students in grades 9-12 with mild to moderate disabilities
- Deliver targeted reading and math interventions as a learning specialist
- Provide co-teaching support within grade-level ELA and Math classrooms
- Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress
- Communicate regularly with families, staff, and external providers
