Step into an engaging and rewarding contract position supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community near Hartford, CT. This full-time onsite opportunity delivers the chance to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with educators and families in a setting that values professional excellence.

As an SLP with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you’ll support students’ speech and language development, fostering growth and confidence in their communication skills. Two positions are currently available with 35 hours per week guaranteed, serving elementary caseloads. Flexibility is key, as you may assist at two nearby school sites to fully support student needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active CT SLP license (upfront licensing a plus)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience
  • Ability to work on-site; this is not a remote or teletherapy role
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills
  • SLPAs will not be considered for these openings
  • Successful completion of district fingerprints and background check
  • Availability for a Zoom interview

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain timely documentation in compliance with school guidelines
  • Adapt strategies and schedules to meet student needs across school locations
