Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Prior experience working with K-5th grade students is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Comfortable using technology for hybrid/remote service delivery when needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments, including evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Provide counseling, support, and crisis intervention services to elementary students
  • Offer consultation and training to teachers and families to support student needs and promote positive behaviors
  • Document evaluations, interventions, and progress in accordance with school policies and best practices
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with the school community
