As a School Psychologist serving in the Promising Students Program (PSP), you'll play a vital part in providing trauma-informed behavioral and mental health services for students with intensive social and emotional needs. Qualifications:

  • Licensed or credentialed School Psychologist (or eligibility in South Carolina)
  • Demonstrated experience with behavioral and counseling interventions
  • Solid background in trauma-informed practices and early intervention strategies
  • Strong collaborative skills for consulting with educational teams and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small-group counseling services
  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
  • Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop/monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Contribute to MTSS implementation and participate in IEP/504 meetings
  • Assist with crisis response, safety planning, and student reintegration support
