School Psychologist - Elgin, South Carolina

Step into a meaningful and influential contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a real difference in educational environments near Elgin, SC, running from August 2026 through May 2027.

You'll work across a diverse caseload, conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, delivering mental health services, collaborating with educators and families, and providing vital crisis intervention and consultation.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology
• State certification as a School Psychologist
• At least two years of experience (including intern roles) in school psychology or a closely related field
• Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments
• Strong written and oral communication abilities, with comfort presenting findings to diverse audiences
• Tech-savvy with experience using computers for data entry, reporting, and correspondence

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and communicate results to parents/teachers
• Observe, analyze, and report on student behaviors, collaborating on IEP and placement committees
• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support
• Partner with internal teams, parents, external agencies, and medical professionals for holistic student support
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation, including Medicaid forms
• Stay updated on relevant laws, best practices, and innovations in school psychology
• Contribute expertise in interdisciplinary meetings and lead or participate in in-service trainings
