Key Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist certification or license (national and/or South Carolina)
- Proven expertise in behavioral and trauma-informed counseling
- Experience with psychoeducational and behavioral evaluation
- Familiarity with FBAs, BIPs, and MTSS
- Strong consultation and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling for students with intensive needs
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments and support Behavior Intervention Plans
- Champion trauma-informed, data-driven interventions within the district’s Promising Students Program
- Consult with teachers, families, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Help develop and monitor transition plans and crisis response strategies
