Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ success and well-being for the upcoming academic year as a contract School Psychologist. Full-time opportunities are available for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations, provide mental health services, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team serving PreK-12 students near Lexington, SC.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
  • State certification as a School Psychologist
  • At least two years of experience, including internship, in a school-based psychology setting
  • Strong skills in psychoeducational evaluations, counseling, and report preparation
  • Ability to consult effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and community organizations
  • Proficiency in using technology for records, reports, and correspondence
  • Comfortable working onsite and able to travel between school locations as needed
  • Capacity for independent judgment, creative problem-solving, and interpreting complex information
  • Ability to perform basic physical requirements, including operating standard office equipment and lifting up to 10 pounds if necessary

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and prepare comprehensive reports to determine special education eligibility
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address student mental health needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop strategies that promote academic and social success
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and Student Assessment Teams
  • Advise and consult on crisis management and offer crisis intervention services as needed
  • Remain current on best practices and evolving legislation in the field
  • Maintain required records, complete documentation for Medicaid reimbursement, and communicate results clearly
  • Facilitate in-service trainings, and foster partnerships with outside agencies when appropriate
