Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Woodbridge, VA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
• Seeking candidates with either a VQAS Level III or at least a 3.5 EIPA score (final credential requirement will be confirmed prior to placement)
• Experience working within school settings or with K-12 students is highly desirable
• Must meet all time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including starting the VA Dept. of Social Services check immediately and obtaining a current VA TB Test
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility and reliability for on-call assignments across various locations as needs are identified

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa for students, teachers, and staff during classroom activities and school events
