Take your physical therapy expertise into a vibrant school environment serving a diverse K-12 population for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Physical Therapist eager to make a positive impact working onsite with students of various ages and backgrounds. You’ll collaborate with educators and other professionals to deliver personalized interventions and support student accessibility and success throughout the school year.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Valid, active Physical Therapist license (state-specific for MA)
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Adaptability to address a range of physical and developmental needs
  • Commitment to ethical, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy sessions according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Track progress, maintain detailed records, and prepare required reports
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other school personnel
  • Educate staff and families about physical therapy interventions and strategies for classroom/home support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive educational environment
