Qualifications:
- Active PT (Physical Therapist) licensure required
- Experience or strong interest in working within K-8 school settings
- Effective communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students ages K-8 based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student participation in school activities
- Assess student progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team goals
- Support classroom and school initiatives for student mobility, access, and safety
