Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in Massachusetts is required
  • Familiarity or experience with pediatric and/or school-based therapy practices preferred
  • Additional Massachusetts educational certifications may be necessary
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams
  • Dedication to maintaining up-to-date documentation and compliance with state and district regulations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, monitor, and document student progress
  • Coordinate with teachers, support staff, and families to help integrate therapy into the school environment
  • Attend meetings as required to review student progress and adjust care plans
  • Maintain professional and legal standards for therapy services within a school setting
  • Adapt strategies to suit the needs of students and support their educational participation
