Physical Therapist - School Setting in Methuen, MA

Make a meaningful impact supporting students by working as an onsite school Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this contract opportunity, you’ll use your PT expertise in a collaborative setting and experience the rewarding environment of helping students succeed. Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts PT license required
• (Preferred) Additional Massachusetts education certifications or willingness to obtain as needed
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings is beneficial
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care
• Ability to adapt interventions to various student needs and IEP requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess, plan, and implement treatment strategies to support students’ physical development and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals with classroom objectives
• Document evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes clearly and accurately
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for services and accommodations
• Travel to the site in Andover, MA for onsite service delivery, one day each week
