Make a real impact in the lives of students facing significant challenges by supporting a dynamic program committed to positive change. This contract opportunity is designed for a School Psychologist eager to provide trauma-informed behavioral and mental health support. You’ll have a crucial role within a dedicated team, shaping interventions that foster academic and social-emotional growth for students with intensive needs. Your efforts will empower students to overcome barriers, strengthen their emotional resilience, and cultivate essential problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • State licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Advanced expertise in counseling and behavioral strategies, including trauma-informed approaches
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Familiarity with developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Strong collaboration and consultation skills with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Ability to support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) implementation
  • Skilled at crisis response, safety planning, and facilitating student transitions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and small-group counseling sessions
  • Complete behavioral and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of intervention plans tailored to student needs
  • Work closely with teachers and families to design effective supports and strategies
  • Participate actively in IEP and Section 504 meetings
  • Lead or assist in developing crisis response plans and transition plans for reintegration
  • Track and analyze data to support informed decision-making for student outcomes
