This contract position is focused on providing trauma-informed behavioral and mental health support for students with intensive social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You'll play a key part in fostering positive student outcomes through early intervention, evidence-based practices, and thoughtful data analysis.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Current credential or eligibility as a School Psychologist
• Background in behavioral health, counseling, or trauma-informed care
• Expertise in conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
• Experience facilitating or supporting development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
• Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
• Effective collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and families
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and adapting to individual student needs

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling to students
• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
• Participate in the design and ongoing monitoring of BIPs
• Attend IEP and Section 504 meetings
• Support crisis response initiatives and safety planning
• Develop and oversee transition plans for student reintegration
• Consult regularly with school teams and caregivers to promote best practices
