Step into a valued role where your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a meaningful difference for students in the Promising Students Program. This contract position is focused on providing trauma-informed behavioral and mental health support for students with intensive social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You'll play a key part in fostering positive student outcomes through early intervention, evidence-based practices, and thoughtful data analysis.

Your ability to connect with students and collaborate with families and school staff will be pivotal in promoting emotional regulation, resilience, and academic achievement. By reducing behavioral incidents and supporting students’ overall well-being, your work will contribute to a truly transformative educational environment.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Current credential or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Background in behavioral health, counseling, or trauma-informed care
  • Expertise in conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
  • Experience facilitating or supporting development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Effective collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and families
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners and adapting to individual student needs

Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling to students
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • Participate in the design and ongoing monitoring of BIPs
  • Attend IEP and Section 504 meetings
  • Support crisis response initiatives and safety planning
  • Develop and oversee transition plans for student reintegration
  • Consult regularly with school teams and caregivers to promote best practices

This is a full-time contract opportunity, 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to make a meaningful impact with a highly supportive and mission-driven educational team.
