Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student growth and well-being as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the vibrant regions near Berkeley, CA. This part-time position spans two innovative and collaborative districts, allowing you to make a meaningful difference across diverse settings.

Your assignment runs from August 17th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027, and offers a four-day workweek—providing excellent work-life balance while you impact young lives. Assignments are split between two districts, giving you exposure to a variety of environments and opportunities for professional development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in California
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, particularly with pediatric populations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to adapt strategies based on individual student needs
  • Passion for supporting student participation and success within school settings

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ needs within educational environments
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
  • Deliver services across both districts as assigned, nurturing relationships and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to policies and best practices
