This full-time, full school year position involves working across multiple sites near Auburn and Placerville, raising your professional skills while positively impacting children's growth and daily functioning.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist or an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • COTAs must have prior school-based experience and be comfortable delivering all direct services in-person
  • Valid state licensure and credentials as required for practice in educational settings
  • Ability and willingness to travel between schools (itinerant position)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a dynamic caseload
  • OT supervision provided virtually to support COTAs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, in-person occupational therapy services to students with varying abilities, following district protocols
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on student goals and tailored interventions
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized therapy plans, focusing on student independence and academic achievement
  • Complete evaluations, maintain thorough documentation, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
  • Communicate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes and ensure continuity of care
