Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT state licensure and registration
  • Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and appropriate OT interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and strategies
  • Deliver direct therapy to support fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide training and resources to educational staff to support classroom integration
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the dynamic needs of students throughout the school year
