Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Current California OT license or eligibility to obtain it
- Experience working in school settings is advantageous, though not mandatory
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, families, and colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills and a heart for helping students thrive
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities
- Develop and implement personalized occupational therapy interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate daily with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Deliver therapy through both one-on-one and small group sessions
- Accurately document progress, contribute to IEP meetings, and maintain compliance with district standards
