Looking to make a positive difference in students’ lives? Take your occupational therapy expertise to a supportive school environment near Placerville, CA, on a contract basis. This full-time, full-school-year opportunity supports students with diverse needs, ranging from mild to severe, across multiple sites.

Licensed Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants with strong school-based experience are encouraged to apply. While all direct services will be delivered in person, COTAs are eligible for virtual OT supervision—perfect for those who thrive working independently within a team-minded network. This role does not allow for fully remote (Voco) work.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid OT or COTA licensure in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment required for COTAs
  • Comfortable working with students with a broad range of needs, ages, and abilities
  • Reliable transportation for travel between sites (itinerant role)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, in-person occupational therapy services to students with mild to severe support needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports in accordance with district standards
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings as needed
