Special Education Teacher - Reynoldsburg, OH

The position commences as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, giving you the chance to foster meaningful academic growth and inclusion.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, valid Ohio certificate/license in Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate)
• Solid understanding and experience in resource room, small group tutoring, and inclusion models
• Background working with students with multiple disabilities, as well as collaborating with diverse staff and student populations
• Confident in accessing and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Organized and effective communicator, able to manage multiple duties within a dynamic elementary setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and interventions tailored to the needs of kindergarten students in various settings (resource room, small group, inclusion)
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned with students’ unique learning needs
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to create an inclusive and positive learning experience
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust instructional plans as needed
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development sessions
