Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification
• Demonstrated background working with K-12 students in a school or similar educational setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication skills to partner with families, staff, and students
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction in accordance with each student’s IEP
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other staff to ensure inclusive educational experiences
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Foster an encouraging, positive classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all school policies and requirements
