Make a meaningful impact as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting students in the Denver area! This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to provide vital services to K-12 learners during a leave coverage assignment. You'll collaborate with caring educators and staff, using your expertise to help students achieve greater independence and success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education Occupational Therapist certification (ages birth–21)
  • Experience serving pediatric or school-based populations (preferred)
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and progress documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, parents, and faculty
  • Ability to adapt interventions across varied age groups and learning needs
  • Must successfully complete a background check following acceptance of the offer

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students K–12 at one or more schools (number of school assignments to be determined)
  • Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and document goals and progress
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to develop appropriate accommodations and supports
  • Consult with teachers and families to optimize student participation and access to curriculum
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide recommendations for student success
  • Adapt services in diverse school settings and age groups as required by caseload

This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 37.5 hours per week. You'll make a difference in students’ lives while growing your school-based skillset in a welcoming and collaborative environment.
