In this contract role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and students to enhance learning environments, foster social-emotional growth, and provide expert support designed to help young minds thrive.

Your ability to offer psychological assessments and interventions will directly support students’ academic and emotional well-being. The community is diverse and dynamic, allowing you to develop rich professional relationships while working alongside dedicated educational teams.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Current state license or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies in a school setting
  • Proficiency in collaborative consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Offer consultation and training for school staff on best practices and support strategies
  • Maintain timely documentation and compliance with relevant laws and policies
