Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility)
  • Experience in schools or working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to provide psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results
  • Effective communication and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners and advocating for student well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
  • Collaborate in the development of academic and behavioral intervention plans
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and provide counseling services when necessary
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP and 504 development
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families on student mental health and learning challenges
  • Maintain up-to-date records and adhere to all confidentiality requirements
