School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | New Haven, Connecticut

This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week, providing support and intervention to students across a broad range of ages and abilities. To excel in this role, you should bring:

• Active SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with K-12 caseloads in school settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and deliver therapy services in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Creating and executing individualized treatment plans for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
• Completing required documentation in a timely and thorough manner
