Occupational Therapist School Setting in Wilmington, DE

In this position, you’ll provide compensatory services for students on a one-day-per-week basis, with the commitment continuing until a total of 40 compensatory service hours are fulfilled. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current state licensure as an OT or COTA
• Experience with school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Familiarity with providing services in educational or home health settings

• Strong organizational skills to track compensatory service hours

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy or assistant services to students according to prescribed plans
• Coordinate and document compensatory service hours, ensuring compliance with established guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement student goals
• Adjust techniques and approaches based on individual student needs and progress
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress effectively
