Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. Serve the needs of diverse learners across two locations with flexible scheduling based on school requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Illinois
- Experience or strong interest in school settings
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Adaptable to working across multiple campuses and student populations
Position Highlights:
- Serve 1 day per week in Peoria providing OT support for students in Emotional Disabilities (ED) programs
- Work 3+ days per week in Bloomington, working with a varied caseload including Emotional Disabilities (ED), Autism (Aut), Life Skills, and additional needs
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student IEP goals
- Complete timely, detailed documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
- Foster independence and improve daily school functioning for students at all ability levels
