Step into a rewarding contract role supporting student growth as a part-time Occupational Therapist. This onsite position is based at a school near Redwood City, CA, with the start date as soon as possible and extending through June 11. The exact hours and school site will be communicated during the onboarding process.

Utilize your expertise in pediatric therapy and collaborate within an educational environment to help students thrive both academically and personally.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, valid license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California per the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in pediatric therapy, emphasizing developmental disabilities.
  • Previous experience working in educational settings, especially schools.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and families to support student progress.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ individual needs.
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions within the school setting to promote students’ functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service professionals to support each student’s educational goals.
  • Provide consultative support and recommendations to educational staff and families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.

This position is strictly onsite and not available for VOCO or hybrid models. You’ll make a direct impact while working alongside passionate professionals dedicated to student well-being.
