Special Education Teacher | Concord, New Hampshire

Shape a school year full of growth and accomplishment as a Special Education Teacher serving bright young minds in the Concord, NH area. This full-time contract position is set to begin August 2026 and continue through June 2027, offering the rewarding opportunity to guide and support students in both 2nd and 5th grade at two closely located schools. This role involves both direct instruction and case management for approximately 15 passionate and eager learners.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Current Special Education Teaching certification or eligibility in New Hampshire
• Previous classroom experience in special education settings, especially with elementary-aged students
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Flexibility and organizational skills to manage responsibilities across two locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and adapt curriculum to meet the individualized educational needs of students in grades 2 and 5
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Coordinate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to encourage student success
• Track student progress and maintain well-organized documentation
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Schedule and manage meetings, communicate student growth, and address parent and colleague concerns professionally
