- Create and deliver individualized lessons focused on functional academics, daily living skills, personal independence, and community integration
- Manage and organize a self-contained classroom environment, providing clear direction to paraprofessionals and fostering a supportive atmosphere

- Collaborate closely with families, related service providers, and transition agencies to maximize student outcomes

- An active, valid State Special Education Teaching License
- Direct, hands-on experience leading a high school Life Skills or self-contained classroom setting (general case management or standard resource roles do not meet the requirements for this position)
