Provide expert pharmaceutical care in an established health facility serving a richly diverse community spanning a large geographic area. This travel pharmacist role offers a unique opportunity to develop clinical skills in a federal healthcare environment serving neonatal to geriatric patients, including specialized populations such as oncology and obstetric cases.

Location: Mesa, AZ (Travel assignment)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift & Schedule:

  • 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
  • Workweek: Wednesday through Tuesday
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services consistent with federal policies.
  • Provide direct patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings, covering a wide patient demographic.
  • Participate in rotational shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Advance clinical pharmacy services through ongoing program development and quality care initiatives.
  • Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy staff, including technicians and assistants, as part of clinic operations management.
  • Adhere to federal healthcare standards, ensuring compliance with mission-driven policies.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory — Arizona license NOT required.
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a registered pharmacist.
  • At least one year of clinical pharmacist experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Willingness to submit to federal fingerprinting clearance prior to start.
