Travel Federal Pharmacist - Phoenix, Arizona
Job Description
Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across a main campus and multiple satellite clinics in a culturally diverse healthcare setting. This travel pharmacist role involves delivering direct patient care to a broad patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients. Rotational shifts cover days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent, high-quality medication management according to established policies
- Deliver direct clinical pharmacy services in inpatient and outpatient departments
- Advance through pharmacist tier levels, with opportunities to serve as an Advanced Practice Pharmacist responsible for specialized clinics and clinical program development
- Administer pharmacy policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational mission and values
- Provide technical and administrative supervision of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers
- Manage clinic operations as Clinic Manager at designated sites
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with experience in federal pharmacy settings
- Strong clinical knowledge across varied patient demographics
