Travel Federal Pharmacist in Vail, AZ

Provide expert pharmacy services across a comprehensive healthcare setting that includes a main campus and satellite clinics in a vibrant, culturally rich community. This travel opportunity involves delivering high-quality medication management and patient care to diverse populations, ranging from neonatal to geriatric patients, including oncology and obstetrics.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care and pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient departments.
• Rotate through day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts to ensure continuous pharmacy coverage.
• Advance through tier levels from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist based on experience and demonstrated skills.
• For Advanced Practice Pharmacists, manage specialized pharmacy clinics and analyze clinical services for quality improvement.
• Oversee administration of pharmacy policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational mission and values.
• Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations, providing technical and administrative supervision to pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with experience in federal pharmacy services preferred.
• Proven ability in managing comprehensive drug therapy programs and providing clinical pharmacy support.
• Strong leadership skills for supervising multidisciplinary pharmacy teams.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to culturally competent care tailored to diverse communities.
