School Psychologist in Discovery Bay, CA

Step into a meaningful contract role empowering students and shaping school communities as a School Psychologist in the vibrant region near Discovery Bay, CA. You’ll support 2-3 local school sites, collaborating closely with educators and student support teams to foster student success. Key Qualifications:

• Active School Psychologist Certification required
• Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and assessment skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple school environments and collaborate effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal student evaluations and complete necessary reporting
• Work with special education teams and teachers to interpret assessment results and inform interventions
• Provide consultation and recommendations to families and staff
• Help develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans for student support
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering professional insights
• Engage in problem solving and crisis intervention as needed

Enjoy a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working across two or three school locations within the area. Caseload specifics will be confirmed prior to your start date, ensuring a clear understanding of your responsibilities.
