Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled School Psychologist to make a meaningful difference for students. This full-time, contract position is open for immediate start and runs through the end of the school year. Work in person with educational teams to provide vital assessment and consultative services in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification or credential
- Previous experience performing psychoeducational assessments in K-12 settings
- Strong report-writing skills and ability to deliver comprehensive psychoeducational reports
- Knowledge of IEP processes and experience collaborating in IEP team meetings
- Ability to perform classroom observations and other assessment components
- Effective communication skills to partner with staff, families, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students, including in-depth assessments and observations
- Prepare and present detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing results and collaborating on eligibility and tailored supports
- Provide consultative services to school teams and families as needed
- Maintain accurate records in line with district policies and deadlines
- Serve as a team resource for interventions and positive student outcomes
