This full-time, contract opportunity offers a rewarding chance to ensure children receive the services and advocacy they need to thrive within their educational environment throughout the full 2026-2027 school year.
As the dedicated school psychologist serving one elementary site, you will work onsite and collaborate with teachers, families, and district staff to conduct initial assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations. Your expertise will help identify students’ strengths and needs, inform individualized education plans, and foster a supportive, inclusive culture.
Ideal qualifications include:
- Active California School Psychologist license
- PPS Credential in School Psychology
- Previous experience assessing and evaluating elementary-aged students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and revaluations for students within the elementary school
- Maintain accurate records and reports according to state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and caregivers during the evaluation process
- Contribute to eligibility determinations and help build appropriate support strategies for individual students
- Offer consultation and intervention planning as part of a responsive, student-focused team
