School Psychologist in Sunnyvale, CA

This contract opportunity allows you to provide essential services to one elementary campus, working onsite near Sunnyvale, CA for the full 2026-2027 school year. As a valued member of the school community, you'll contribute to creating a nurturing environment that promotes student well-being and success.

In this role, you will:

• Provide assessment, evaluation, and re-evaluation services for elementary students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective support plans
• Conduct observations and consultations to inform educational strategies
• Participate in team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and eligibility determinations
• Maintain documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Offer short-term counseling or intervention support as needed
• Serve as a trusted resource for social-emotional and behavioral guidance across the school

Qualifications:

• Active California School Psychologist license (Required)
• Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
• Experience working within school settings, ideally elementary
• Strong skills in assessment, report writing, and collaborative problem-solving
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

This is a full-time position with 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, September through June—perfect for individuals passionate about making a lasting difference during the school year.
