Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a valid certification as a school psychologist
  • Previous experience conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
  • Proficiency in writing thorough and actionable psychoeducational reports
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Skilled in classroom observation methods, interviews, and data analysis
  • Confidence communicating assessment results and eligibility recommendations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students
  • Observe students in classroom settings to assess needs and progress
  • Compose detailed assessment reports for use in IEP meetings and planning
  • Participate actively in IEP team meetings, interpreting results and advising on eligibility and services
  • Counsel and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
  • Maintain clear documentation and adhere to compliance and confidentiality standards
