Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students’ growth and success for the upcoming second semester! This is a full-time contract opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist, working 37.5 hours per week from January 4, 2027, through May 28, 2027. You'll collaborate with dedicated educational professionals, lending your expertise in testing, report writing, and participating in IEP meetings. Assignments will involve various sites and grade levels, providing both variety and the chance to impact a diverse student population.

Your background in behavior intervention and counseling will be instrumental in helping students thrive academically and emotionally. This role is ideal for candidates who are committed to fostering positive learning environments and are adept at balancing assessment duties with meaningful student support.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or license as a School Psychologist required
  • Experience with psychoeducational testing, report writing, and IEP development
  • Strong grasp of special education processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to support behavior intervention plans and provide counseling as needed
  • Adaptable to working with various grade levels (assignment will be determined)
  • Previous school-based experience highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
  • Prepare comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation reports
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings as an essential team member
  • Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies
  • Provide short-term counseling to students as needed
  • Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student needs
