School Psychologist | Discovery Bay, California

In this exciting contract role near Discovery Bay, CA, you’ll have the opportunity to provide impactful psychological services to students during the second semester of the school year. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) runs from January 4, 2027, through May 28, 2027. As a key contributor, you will help ensure students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs are thoroughly assessed and supported.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist credential/license
• Experience with psychoeducational testing, assessments, and report writing
• Understanding of IEP development and participation in IEP meetings
• Ability to provide behavioral consultation and counseling for students
• Flexibility to serve multiple sites and various grade levels (to be determined)
• Strong collaborative and communication skills with staff, families, and fellow professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, administer assessments, and write comprehensive reports
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings as a School Psychologist representative
• Consult with educators and families to develop and implement behavioral and intervention plans
• Deliver counseling services as needed to support student social-emotional health
• Support a collaborative, inclusive atmosphere while serving an assigned caseload
