Take the next step in your school-based physical therapy career by providing essential PT services within a supportive educational environment near Lowell, MA. This rewarding contract opportunity allows you to work onsite one day per week throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is perfect for an experienced PT with a passion for helping students reach their fullest potential through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Hold an active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
  • Additional Massachusetts educational certifications may be required
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Excellent collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and related service providers
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs within the school environment
  • Effective communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs designed to enhance students’ mobility, independence, and participation in school activities
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support each student’s goals and educational success
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that prioritizes student well-being and achievement

This contract position runs from September 1st, 2026 through June 14th, 2027, onsite in a well-resourced school community one day per week.
