School-Based Physical Therapist - Sudbury, MA
Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide impactful services to K-8 students on a rewarding contract assignment. Qualifications:
- Active and valid Physical Therapy (PT) license required
- Experience with pediatric populations—especially within schools—is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver PT interventions for K-8 students with diverse needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress toward goals
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student participation in educational activities
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and procedures
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student care
- Provide instruction and support to staff and caregivers regarding student needs, equipment, and exercise regimens
This is a full-time contract position beginning immediately and extending through June 2027. Work a consistent school schedule, Monday through Friday, with 35 hours per week. Earn a competitive pay rate of $50-$60 per hour, with weekly pay and access to a comprehensive benefits package.
