Occupational Therapist School Setting in Lowell, MA

As an onsite OT, you will contribute to student success by:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and current Occupational Therapy license required
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a wide range of ages and learning needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to delivering quality care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ abilities to participate and succeed in school routines
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for K-12 students
• Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in student support meetings
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents and caregivers

This per diem position offers flexibility to manage your work based on school needs and personal commitments. As the role is exclusively onsite, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting student growth and functional independence within the school community.
